The founding partners, Messrs Thomas and Jones, were archetypal estate estates - they managed rows of terraced houses which were let on weekly tenancies; they collected the rent; organised repairs; dealt with re-letting and acted, usually on behalf of others, though sometimes they were landlords themselves.

Venmore Thomas & Jones has continued to thrive and grow and now has branches in the key residential areas of the region.
